Biodexa's September 11 update has two things going on at once. Its Phase 3 eRapa trial has enrolled 92 of a planned 168 patients. That's progress, but the company also says it expects to need more financing in Q4 to keep its development plans going.
It raised $3.5m gross in July, so this isn't just an old cash balance being taken out of context. The funding question is still there.
Stock Pulse app flagged BDRX at $1.185 at 10:40 AM ET. It reached $1.5499 at 1:09 PM, about 31% higher, with 1.22m shares in that peak minute. It finished the regular session around $1.29.
For people following the trial: was there anything in this update that changed your view, or was Friday mostly traders responding to the headline?
