Word on the street is Anthropic's finally dropping its public filing by the end of August, gunning for that $75B raise that could blow SpaceX's record right out the water. The revenue numbers are insane already — they hit $65B annualized as of July, way up from the $9B we saw at the end of last year, and that latest private funding round valued it nearly at $1T. No wonder everyone's already debating if it hits $2T once it lists.
Can't buy Anthropic directly yet? Those funds that already hold its private shares are the obvious proxy plays right now — DXYZ and VCX are absolutely leading the pack, their Anthropic exposure is literally 4x bigger than every other fund on the list. Don't sleep on the partners too: Amazon dropped $13B+ into Anthropic already plus that huge cloud infrastructure deal, and Alphabet's piled in over $10B while locking in that TPU supply agreement.
Heads up though, watch those NAV premiums on the closed-end funds — that scarcity hype can push their prices way above their underlying portfolio value, and that premium is gonna vanish the second Anthropic goes public.
