Following up again on my previous posts as Stewards ($SWRD) continues working toward its planned Nasdaq uplisting.

Assuming today’s $4 close holds as reported, that makes Day 21 of 30 consecutive trading days at or above $4.

The trading today was probably the most interesting part for me. Volume has been gradually picking up since this 30-day run started. This was a stock that routinely traded only a few hundred shares a day, and while volume is still extremely low in absolute terms, we’ve increasingly been seeing volume in the thousands.

Today took another step up, with roughly 16,000 shares trading. Remember, this is a micro float of about 475,000 shares. If there are shorts or other market maker shenanigans going into the up list, they will absolutely have to make it whole.

The tape around $4 continues to be pretty wild. There was significant pressure below $4 intraday, with multiple market makers appearing around the ask at various points, but buyers continued coming in and SWRD ultimately held the $4 level.

I’m not going to speculate about what individual market makers are doing or why. With a stock this thin, relatively small orders can have an enormous effect in either direction. But the combination of increasing volume, the unusual Level II activity and the stock continuing to defend the $4 area certainly makes this an interesting one to watch as the potential Nasdaq listing gets closer.

On the business side, Stewards also put out some news today.

Stewards Business Capital launched a new digital customer platform for its small and midsize business financing operation.
The initial rollout is a secure bilingual web portal that lets customers manage documents, execute agreements digitally and review funding offers in real time. More interesting to me is that Stewards describes this as the foundation for a broader platform, with additional functionality and financial products expected to be added over time.

That fits with the technology-enabled private credit story they’ve been building, using technology not just for underwriting and risk assessment, but increasingly for the entire customer and funding lifecycle.

Nothing here changes the basic thesis overnight, but it’s another piece of operational execution while the uplisting process continues.
Day 21/30. Nine more trading days to go.

As always, do your own DD. A Nasdaq uplisting is not guaranteed, the $4 requirement is only one of several listing requirements, and SWRD remains an extremely thinly traded OTC stock where relatively small trades can create significant price movements in either direction.
