NINE.CN just hit 24m of 2.77% Cu-Eq and 9.2m of 4.14% Cu-Eq at Wedge Project. Worth a look?
I've been digging into **Nine Mile Metals (CSE: NINE)** and their latest drill results caught my attention.
The company announced results from hole **WD-26-07** at its Wedge Project in the Bathurst Mining Camp, New Brunswick. Highlights included:
* **24.0m @ 2.77% Cu-Eq**
* Including **9.2m @ 4.14% Cu-Eq**
* Broader interval of **33.0m @ 2.12% Cu-Eq**
* Two VMS mineralized zones totaling **42.85m** of mineralization in the hole. What I find interesting is that this was reportedly the company's **first hole in the southwest portion** of the target area, and management believes it could help expand mineralization in that direction. For anyone unfamiliar, the **Bathurst Mining Camp** is one of Canada's most well-known VMS districts. These systems can host copper, zinc, lead, silver, and gold, and Nine Mile's latest intercepts contained a mix of those metals. I'm not saying this is a guaranteed winner, but for a small-cap explorer, these seem like solid drill results, especially with the combination of grade and width:
* 24m @ 2.77% Cu-Eq
* 9.2m @ 4.14% Cu-Eq
* Visible copper-rich intervals up to 7.9% Cu in individual samples reported by the company. The big question now is whether future holes can demonstrate continuity and grow the resource. One good hole doesn't make a mine, but this looks like a meaningful step forward.
