Short one, follow up to [my post](https://www.reddit.com/r/pennystocks/s/UG6EYO9SVn) from three weeks ago. I still have the same position I had then.
Director Heather Wishart-Smith bought 1,054 shares on Thursday at an average of 18.96, about 20k total. That took her to 11,405 shares, a 10.18% increase in her position.
The size is small. The context is not. She bought at 18.96 after the stock had already run from 10.40 to 17.58 on the 1Q27 print. Thats a director stepping in after a 70% move, not before it. Insiders buy for one reason and one reason only, and buying into strength rather than waiting for a pullback tells you something about how they see in the next few weeks. I believe they are about to announce a huge deal.
Also worth noting, Sally Washlow, the CEO, bought twice back in late June. That was two months before the data center engagement showed up in the numbers. She was buying her own stock while the market still had this thing priced as a forgotten micro cap.
Then a week ago they presented at the Emerging Growth Conference. Small cap conference, live streamed, and my guess is that put the story in front of a few people who had never looked at it. A director buying the same day probably did not hurt either.
Stock is up more than 20% today and sitting around 25$.
1Q27 EPS came in at 0.47 against a 0.07 consensus, which is not a beat, thats a different planet. Revenue topped too. Consensus rating is a Moderate Buy with a 30 target, and institutions hold 52.59%.
Market cap after todays rise is still only around 100 million. Every competitor in this space is valued in the billions and Orion is the one with the AI hyperscale data center product. Can you add two and two together yet?
