Recently lots of post about reddit and every post talk about numbers. I agree numbers are there but recently I'm thinking about the moat behind the reddit and does it have potential to be another Meta.
I feel the moat of Meta is its addictive algorithm and format. We know it's harmful personally and to the society, but it is what it is. Also, intelligence level of people on meta or even Intelligent one become part of the herd and apps get their hidden raw emotions and insecurities out and keep them engage, but in reddit its quite reverse.
So, does reddit have what is needed to grow at the level of Meta? Will it be adopted by mass or just limited to nerd class?
P.S. Here I'm not talking about advertisement and revenue at all, that's totally another topic. I'm here trying to claim reddit userbase growth has certain limit.
