FAMI is a mushroom company. Seriously

I went looking for company news behind FAMI and somehow ended up reading about a meme-coin.

The Block reports that trading picked up around JINQIAN, a meme-coin paired with an onchain token using the FAMI ticker on Robinhood Chain. Important distinction: that FAMI token was not an official Robinhood stock token, and Farmmi did not announce any deals. The equity move appears to have coincided with traders discovering the pair and piling into the ticker.

Stock Pulse mobile app flagged FAMI at 10:27 AM around $0.2259. It touched $0.50 at 10:48 — a 121% move in 21 minutes. The peak candle alone traded 11.4 million shares.

It had already run hard from the previous $0.1187 close before the alert, then finished the regular session at $0.1688. Total session volume was roughly 870 million shares versus an 8.1 million 30-day average. That is about 107 times normal volume.

The corporate backdrop makes the whole thing even stranger. Farmmi sells mushrooms and agricultural products. In June it closed a $3 million offering of 7 million shares plus pre-funded warrants for another 5 million at roughly $0.25 each — almost exactly where today's alert fired.

Can activity around an unofficial token pair really spill into the Nasdaq stock this aggressively, or was this just a perfect coincidence for momentum traders?
