TNON: a pretty good move from a pretty boring debt announcement

Paying off a loan doesn't usually get this much attention. With TNON, the conversion terms were the interesting part.

The SI-joint device maker announced September 9 that it had repaid convertible notes originally issued with about $5.16m in principal, ahead of their September 11 maturity. That removes the possibility of those notes converting into discounted shares. It doesn't mean future dilution is off the table, but it does remove one specific worry.

Stock Pulse mobile app flagged roughly $3.84 at 8:46 AM ET on September 10. TNON reached $6.10 at 4:29 PM, about 59% higher. Nearly 357,000 shares traded in that minute, so there was volume behind the after-hours high.

Anyone following Tenon before this: how much of the selling pressure did you attribute to those notes?
