$BMEA ($1.8) -- Another $7 price target by Citizens

On Sunday night, I posted Citi’s call on BMEA. The price was $1.37, Citi had a $7 target, and the upside was 410%.

And what happened in the comments?

“Pump and dump.”

“Doesn’t mean much.”

“Complete nonsense.”

And, of course, the always insightful: “Fukem.”

Well, BMEA is now up about 30% from where it was when I posted it.

No, that’s not 410%. No, we’re not ordering the yacht yet. But 30% in a couple of days? I’ll take that every single time.

And before everybody races for the downvote button, understand the point here. We’re supposed to be helping each other find opportunities, not bashing every idea the second somebody posts it. Check my history. The stocks I’ve highlighted have moved -- some of them like crazy.

That Citi call was probably one of the better recommendations posted on this board over the past month. You can hate that comment, downvote it, curse at me -- I really don’t care. The stock price is keeping score.

Now, speeches aside, here’s why I’m posting again. Citizens came out today with ANOTHER $7 price target on BMEA.

While Citi is pounding the table on the BMF-650 catalyst coming next month, Citizens is basically saying guys, don’t fall asleep on what’s coming after that.

They’re looking at COVALENT-211 in Q1 2027, and they think this could be a BIG one for BMEA.

“The '211 data coming in 1Q27 is a major catalyst for BMEA shares where a 0.5%+ pbo-adj. reduction in A1c after 26 weeks will validate the menin inhibitor’s potential in this difficult-to-treat population.”

So do the math here. BMF-650 next month. COVALENT-211 in Q1. Two completely different catalysts, and two analysts pointing at two different reasons to keep BMEA on the radar.

Will either deliver? Hell if I know. That’s biotech.
