Adobe has finally concluded the CEO search. Anil Chakravarthy, president of Adobe’s Customer Experience Orchestration business and worldwide field operations, will become Adobe’s next president and CEO and join the Board of Directors on December 1, 2026. Shantanu Narayen will transition to executive chair.
Chakravarthy joined Adobe nearly seven years ago after serving as CEO of enterprise data management company Informatica.
Concurrently, David Wadhwani has announced his departure from Adobe via a LinkedIn post. Wadhwani has served as the president of Adobe’s creativity and productivity business for nearly five years and was seen as a strong contender for the CEO role.
Adobe stock is sinking after these announcements.
