Pretty interesting reaction after earnings tonight.
NVDA reported $96.2B in revenue and adjusted EPS of $2.22, both ahead of expectations. Q3 revenue guidance came in at $108B, while management also gave a much stronger growth outlook for next year than Wall Street expected.
Margins are expected to come down as memory costs rise, so it's not a completely clean story.
What caught my attention was the chart.
NVDA initially sold off into the $207-$208 area, right where the daily 50 and 100 SMAs are sitting almost on top of each other. Buyers stepped in hard and pushed it back toward $220.
For me, $221 is the key level now. If NVDA can break above it and hold it as support, I'm watching $225-$226 next.
If $221 rejects, $214-$215 is the first area I'm watching below. Bigger support remains around $207-$208.
I mapped out a few other levels tonight, but I'm trying to keep the chart simple. If NVDA gives us a clean reaction around $221 tomorrow, I'll probably follow up on it.
