NVIDIA is starting to piss me off

Seriously.

We keep hearing that NVIDIA is the foundation of the AI revolution. The company is printing money, dominating AI compute, rolling out Blackwell, talking about Rubin, and basically sitting in the middle of the biggest technology buildout we've seen in decades.

And yet the stock trades like everyone suddenly forgot what NVIDIA does.

What the hell?

I'm not expecting NVDA to go up 10% every week. That's not realistic. But there's something bizarre about watching the company continue to put up absolutely insane numbers while the stock action increasingly feels like the market is asking:

"Yeah, but can you prove AI is real?"

ARE YOU KIDDING ME?

Every major hyperscaler is spending enormous amounts of money on AI infrastructure. Everybody wants more compute. NVIDIA has the ecosystem, CUDA, networking, software, accelerators, systems, and an incredibly aggressive roadmap.

And somehow, we're sitting here debating whether NVIDIA has "lost momentum."

No. The expectations have gone completely insane.

That's the real problem.

NVIDIA isn't being valued like a normal semiconductor company anymore. It's being valued like the company that has to be right about the future of AI for the next decade.

So, if NVIDIA absolutely crushes earnings, the reaction can be:

"Great. But what about next quarter?"

If guidance is merely fantastic instead of ridiculous:

"Sell."

If margins move a little:

"AI bubble!"

If the stock goes sideways:

"NVIDIA has peaked!"

Meanwhile, the underlying business is sitting at the center of an industry that is spending hundreds of billions on infrastructure.

At some point, investors need to decide what they actually believe.

Do you believe AI is the next major computing platform?

Then NVIDIA is arguably one of the most important companies on the planet.

Do you believe the AI infrastructure spending is fundamentally unsustainable?

Fine. Make that argument.

But this weird middle ground where everyone believes AI is enormous, everyone acknowledges NVIDIA's technological dominance, everyone knows hyperscalers are spending like drunken sailors - and then everyone acts shocked that NVIDIA's revenue keeps growing - is getting ridiculous.

And here's the part that really bothers me:

NVIDIA doesn't need to win every single AI battle to be an incredible company.

It needs to remain the dominant platform as AI moves from training → inference → agents → robotics → sovereign AI → whatever comes next.

That's the thesis.

So, I'm not worried because NVIDIA suddenly has no direction.

I'm worried because the market has made the expectations so absurd that even an extraordinary company can look broken whenever it fails to exceed those expectations by another extraordinary amount.

Jensen, for the love of God, just keep building the damn chips.

The rest of us will try to survive the emotional damage of owning the stock.

NVDA holders: are we witnessing a temporary reset of expectations, or is the market actually starting to question the entire AI infrastructure thesis?
