PDSB: was everyone trading the financing, or the name on the cheque?

Patrick Soon-Shiong backing PDSB and joining the board explains why this got attention. But the “up to $22.55m” headline needs a second read.

The cancer biotech expects $11.55m initially. Another $11m depends on submitting a Phase 3 trial protocol for PDS0301 to the FDA. That's a funding milestone, not trial results. The initial share units are priced at $0.2825 and come with warrants, so there's dilution attached too.

Stock Pulse mobile app flagged it at $0.4272 at 8:45 AM ET. It hit $0.651 at 9:33, about 52% higher in 48 minutes, before fading toward $0.31 by the close.

I get why his involvement mattered. I'm less convinced the headline amount tells the whole story. For anyone who traded it, was Soon-Shiong the main draw, or did the deal itself change your view?
