Help me reach a rational decision, show me the evidence, remember why I made it, and tell me when the facts invalidate it
For people doing serious bottom-up/value investing: where is the real bottleneck today?
We already have financials, transcripts, screeners, DCF tools, and AI summaries.
Is the harder problem actually:
* turning information into a decision;
* remembering exactly why you invested;
* avoiding thesis drift;
* knowing what changed after earnings;
* deciding when the original thesis is broken?
I’m trying to find the tool that:
**“Don’t just tell me about Microsoft. Help me reach a rational decision, show me the evidence, remember why I made it, and tell me when the facts invalidate it.”**
What’s genuinely painful in your process today?
Also:
* What tools do you use?
* Do you keep a written thesis / kill criteria?
* What part would be worth paying to solve?
* What would make you distrust an AI-assisted research tool?
If spreadsheets + notes already solve this well, I’d like to hear that too.
