What is everyones opinion on DUK?

They are currently trading at 18.8 pe ratio, they have a legal monopoly where the government allows them to take profits at \~10% of their infrastructure. And currently they have headwinds of 103 billion in capex allowing their revenue to grow at a consistent 8% under their current contracts.

Energy is currently and will be the most important industry for our current and future growth as a civilization, and DUK is well diversified in many areas of the energy sector.

I have been trying to find a stock with a decent earnings yield that will possibly have multiple expansion. I think a stock with consistent 8-12% revenue growth should be valued a bit higher - 20-25 pe ratio. Even if the stock does not see multiple expansion, they will double their revenue over the next 7 years, which makes their earnings yield go from 5.32%-\~10%+. That assumes consistent margins(those should expand as well).

In our current Market cycle we have seen the market grow from 2023-2026, that is 4 years of growth. Statistically I believe it is smart to start shifting my funds over to value/dividend stocks to prepare for a market downturn. I still will hold some growth companies, however my position sizing has gotten too big in the growth category.

Just as a disclamer, this is not financial advice, I would just like to get some opinions. I currently own 150 shares of DUK or a 9% weighting in my portfolio.
