Eli Lilly’s GLP-1 machine is still running hot

Revenue: $22.97B vs. $20.26B expected
Revenue growth: +48%
Non-GAAP EPS: $8.38 vs. $6.01 expected
Reported net income: $7.10B, up 25%
Non-GAAP net income: $7.49B, up 32%

The main drivers were Mounjaro and Zepbound.

Mounjaro revenue rose 91% to $9.94B.

U.S. Mounjaro revenue rose 45% to $4.8B.

International Mounjaro revenue rose 172% to $5.2B.

Zepbound U.S. revenue rose 44% to $4.9B.

Volume growth was strong, but pricing was still a pressure point.

Worldwide revenue was helped by a 60% increase in volume, partly offset by a 13% decline in realized prices.

Lilly also raised full-year guidance:

Revenue: $85B to $87B, up from $82B to $85B
Non-GAAP EPS: $35.50 to $36.50
Performance margin: 49.0% to 50.5%

Pipeline updates remained active.

Retatrutide completed its Phase 3 obesity data package for global registrations.

Foundayo was submitted in the U.S. for type 2 diabetes.

The company also reported progress across oncology, immunology, neuroscience, and genetic medicine.
