NVDA makes up about 35% of my growth portfolio and my cost basis would be in the single digits. I'm 47M, and my tax on this would be 0 since I have enough capital losses to offset the gains. I'm the type that usually don't sell unless I have to since I'm in it for the long haul. But lately, I've been forming a passive dividend income portfolio to get ready for the bear market and it's blended rate is 10.1% and it's calculated to give me about $14k/year. I just thought starting a passive income portfolio earlier to let it compound by the time i retire for additional income. So my question is, would you just let NVDA continue to run, or would you rather take some of it and throw it into the passive income portfolio, in which it would put me up to $15k/year in passive income.
