What happens with your crypto if a software wallet provider "Ruggs" you?
I had this question on my mind for some time now.
Basically what I want to know is what would happen to your wallet (specifically multicoin wallet) if the software provider were to shut down the project, take down all the apps, browser extensions etc. Would you be able to recover your multicoin wallet with another provider using only your seed phrase?
Im aware that wallet recovery via seed phrase/ private key works with blockchain specific wallets like Phantom (SOL), Nami (ADA) and Temple (XTZ), but Im not sure if it would work with a multicoin wallet.

**The Test:**
I even tried to test this out by funding my Exodus (multicoin wallet) wallet with a few different coins like SOL, ADA and LINK. After that I tried to import that same wallet into Trust wallet (also a multicoin wallet) via the seed phrase. The import went well and the Trust wallet accepted it as a valid wallet, but none of the coins I had in my Exodus wallet appeared in the Trust wallet.

Im a bit paranoid that something like mentioned above would happen so I would like to be prepared just in case. If you have any info or experience that would help feel free to share it below!
