I know this is probably the worst crowd to share this with in one way but the best in another because I know yall will reality check me if I’m off. But hear me out.
Crypto came out like 18 years ago. I still can’t buy a damn sandwich with it at my local supermarket in any better or easier way. Now don’t get me wrong there’s a lot of use cases where crypto is a useful technology. But it didn’t change how everyday people operate like was predicted.
By contrast, AI came out and changed everything overnight for everyone. Business and everyday people. My personal life and how I run my businesses will never be the same. It also generates cash flow.
So my issue isn’t the charts but fundamentally that crypto didn’t change the world in the way it was predicted or in the way AI did almost instantly. So I don’t see the long-term investment thesis in crypto, especially relative to AI.
That’s why I abandoned crypto investments for long-term AI plays.
