# Monday Predictions and Why! Aug 3, 2026
I'd love to hear people's personal predictions for just tomorrow, Monday Aug 3, 2026. Please comment below with your prediction and a reason why. Also mention whether or not you plan on opening or closing any positions tomorrow, Monday.
I believe tomorrow will be a bullish day with another day of 1% + gain in the NASDAQ.
The reason I believe that is that the NASDAQ is down 6% from 2 months ago and it feels like a coiled spring to me. In addition, the Iran situation is again on pause. Finally, I believe the Chinese situation with ASML technology and subsequent building of their own machines in China has been overplayed by drawing down the chip associated tech stocks as of late. The chips the Chinese can make are for microwaves and automobiles, not super computers. Once the broader market realizes that, the associated stocks should have a nice rebound yet again until China improves the technology that they took from ASML.
I plan on opening a lot of positions tomorrow as my last Friday options either expired or were assigned and lots of capital has been freed up. My trades I entered yesterday all have bullish sentiments for Monday's open.
