The rest of 2026 is pretty quiet leading up to December 18th, which is Avengers Doomsday and Dune 3, both of which are going to definitely pull $1B+.
Onto 2027...
In March theres the new Godzilla x Kong Supernova movie, that'll easily cross a half a billion if not more.
In April there's the Legend of Zelda movie. Easy $1B.
In May theres the Resurrection of Christ movie by Mel Gibson. Evangelicals will flock to that shit, another easy $1B.
In June, Beyond the Spiderverse comes out. Another easy $1B.
The Mummy 4 with Brendan Fraser is set for October currently. I could totally see that crossing half a billion MINIMUM.
Frozen 3 is in November. Holy shit, easy $1B.
Then in December, Avengers Secret Wars. Bam, another $1B. Also there's apparently a Gollum movie being made? Thats also in December. Not sure about that one, but its the LotR IP, so probably gonna be a minor blockbuster even if its terrible.
Point is, theaters are going to popping over the next year and a half. AMC stock is only like $2 rn. Is it worth it to invest a reasonable few hundred and hold till 2028 for some decent gains or am I delusional?
