semis arent the real businesses that make the world turn. They’re very important but most industries have been hurt very badly by the semi bubble sucking all of the oxygen out of the room per say. There are so many businesses across all industries that have been utterly crushed by this administration. That’s the rebound we need, not more chip makers at galactic valuations for a large language model industry that is, as people are discovering, “not the AI that we were promised.” If you work with advanced AI models everyday all day you’ll quickly notice that it’s great at collecting information but absolutely trash at making anything technical. It makes so incredibly many mistakes.
