If you like the idea of beating institutions and anslytsts - BRSL
The photo is the snapshot of Q4 performance from 2025. This is a really simple play to understand. The higher the jackpots in a quarter, the greater the sales, the greater the profits.
2025 Q4 peak jackpot amounts:
Mega Millions $980m
Powerball $1.7bn
Super enalotto €99.6m
Euro Millions €178.6m
Following this impressive quarter was impossible to match and Q1 and Q2 in America were disappointing for Brightstar, as the jackpots take a while to rebuild. Couple that in with the massive €1bn+ Italian lotto license renewal, investors have been spooked and have dropped the share price around 30%
To be clear, a jackpot breaching $1bn in America, €200m for super enalotto and Euro Millions breaking €150m is great news for Brightstar lottery. Especially if it's the Mega Millions as the ticket price has increased by 150% to $5 per ticket. (And it is yet to breach $1bn since the new price point was introduced)
2026 Q3 jackpot builds so far (week 3/13)
Mega Millions $743m (2 weeks to $1bn)
Powerball $600m\* (2.5 weeks to $1bn)
Super enalotto €197.8m (1 week to €200m threshold)
Euro Millions €70m (2 weeks to €150m)
\*Powerball has just allowed the UK to buy tickets for the first time, so we can expect an increase in revenue and either faster wins or faster builds to the jackpot.
With all this in mind, what are the chances of these jackpots reaching their targets? I'll display it as odds of each draw rolling individually and cumulatively at the end.
Mega Millions Draw 1) 91% 2) 90% 3)88% 4)85% 5)81% 6)75% Total) 53%
Powerball Draw 1) 87% 2)85% 3)83% 4)81% 5)78% 6)73% 7)68% 8)61.9% Total) 20% likelihood
Super Enalotto Draw 1) 98% 2) 98% 3) 98% Total)96%
Euro Millions Draw 1) 80% 2) 78% 3) 74% 4) 70% 5) 62% Total) 31%
Now will all 4 make their targets? Who knows. Will one, most likely. The point is the company is currently near their 52 week lows with the potential for an absolute monster of a quarter (and that's not including the effect of the cost cutting measures, the share buyback scheme, the deployment of new contract revenue and also all of the existing recent contract extensions that have been announced).
As you can tell by searching this company, they are relatively unspoken about. I would advise everyone to listen to the Q1 investor Q&A to help inform their decision on this $2bn company.
