I 19M inherited about 17k in an E\*trade account from my grandfather passing about 2 years ago. I managed to get the account to almost 48k June 1st. It has since nosedived down to 17k once again. HPE, Dell, and SNDK from Q1 were all what got me to that point. MUU and a poorly educated ORACL call was what got me to 17k. I can’t help but feel ill when I think about how much has been lost. I constantly find myself investing in a “so i can get it all back” mindeset which I know is unhealthy for investing. I have only been in the market for 5 years (3 years paper trading +2 years E\*trade) and I don’t know what to do with the current market. Any advice and criticism is welcome please don’t hold back.
