I only supplement a portion of my portfolio with options. I bought a low point in SOFI this week thinking I could make a profit if it started climbing towards earnings as they have been trending down for quite a while now but showing strong profits. I'm currently down 40%. This is small compared to many of you but with me having a smaller portfolio to play with it currently has lost me all my gains YTD. Should I hold and stick through earnings? Or does anyone have good recommendations? I have a hard time picking options and tend to play conservative with longer time horizons, I have the benefit of this contact expiring through earnings call.
