Anyone else watching $WPG / $WPGCF gold drill results? High-grade hits in Arizona look interesting
Hey folks, I’ve been scrolling through some TSXV / OTCQB updates and came across West Point Gold ($WPG). They’ve dropped some pretty solid gold drill intercepts from their flagship Gold Chain project in Arizona’s historic Oatman District lately—stuff like 18.3m of 6.05 g/t Au (incl. 6.1m of 13.46 g/t Au) and 35.1m of 2.23 g/t Au expanding the high-grade Northeast Tyro Zone, plus 22.9m of 3.11 g/t Au and a broad 184.4m of 1.00 g/t Au (with higher-grade internal zones) at the Tyro Main Zone, among other step-outs.
For a small cap explorer, they’re advancing multiple high-potential targets along the prolific Walker Lane Trend in Arizona and Nevada, including a JV partnership with Kinross at Jefferson Canyon. Positive metallurgical results show recoveries up to 92%, and they’re in the middle of a large ongoing drill program (already \~17.5k m completed of 20k m+) with assays still pending and a maiden resource on the horizon.
Gold isn’t exactly antimony, but with strong gold prices and a clear focus on domestic US production in historic districts, it feels timely.
I’m not holding (yet), just digging into the recent hits and reports. Anyone following junior gold explorers or got thoughts on whether this could actually move the needle? Or is it just another explorer story?
