Was everyone freaking out back in March-April when the market took a similar dip as the last month?

I’m fairly new to investing, and based on history, I noticed earlier this year the market was slowing down and dipping, similar to this last month. Theres a lot of uncertainty and panic going on. “the AI bubble bursting” Was there a similar conversation happening then as there is now? I feel like the market will recover soon but I have no idea, I’m just basing that on what I see from the previous time period.
