Been playing 2x leveraged stuff lately and this GGLL trade was a reminder why you set a timer on these things.
In and out in 20 minutes. With 2x leverage on $GOOGL you really cannot afford to sit on your hands, the thing moves fast and decays faster. My moo.moo alerts were going off the whole time ngl.
The bear case on leveraged ETFs is obvious, everyone knows the decay math. But the bull case is just as obvious when the underlying has momentum. You ride it quick and you get out. Holding overnight on a 2x product is where people lose their shirts.
Anyone else running GGLL or TQQQ style plays right now? Curious if the 20-minute scalp mentality actually works for others or if holding a bit longer captures more of the move.
