VisionWave announced today that they filed a U.S. non-provisional patent for DeepWave RF!
It’s an AI-powered subsurface sensing platform meant for drilling. The idea is to use RF sensing and edge AI right near the drill bit to give operators a better look at what’s ahead in the rock instead of just reacting after the fact.
They filed the full utility application (claiming priority to an earlier provisional). No guarantee a patent will issue, of course.
