I think Apple will lead AI for consumer market within 5 years.
I understand Apple Intelligence was shit, I think that Apple had no idea what they were doing at the time.
But whenever they do something, they set the standard for the entire market. I am def an Apple fanboy, but they do everything with so much intent.
Anthropic, Open AI they have the business case on lock.
Google is the only company i see alongside it, but they’re just pretending at the moment as well with Gemini. Trying to fit into a rapidly evolving market.
Once Apple sets the standard, they will follow.
iOS 27 contains a glimpse of the future, but it’s too simple right now.
Apple just needs to improve their on device model to be able to handle day to day consumer use cases.
Apple will release an SDK that enables app developers to add support for an AI protocol similar to MCP that they will pioneer.
Every major app will integrate with it, and then Siri AI will become the most used consumer product. ChatGPT, Claude, will probably fall off.
Gemini will be integrated into Android on the OS level, on the device as well for local AI.
In a perfect world, Google and Apple use the same protocol, but likely not.
Apple will be the most valuable company in the world.
