I built a structured stock-analysis checklist, what would you remove or add?
Heya everyone, I have created an investment checklist tool to help with your investing analysis. The problem I’m trying to solve is that it’s easy to jump from a few attractive numbers straight to a valuation without documenting what you actually know about the business.
I built a checklist that takes an investor through five sections:
1. Know the business
2. Test the moat
3. Assess management
4. Estimate intrinsic value
5. Write the final thesis
Each question asks for a written answer, supporting evidence, confidence level, and a yes/partial/no decision. The end result is meant to be an investment memo rather than an automated stock score.
Feedback is welcome!
