Curious on thoughts

At this point I am convinced that the board members of Cracker Barrel are attempting to short the company the same way that was attempted at GameStop.

The moment Julie Masino stated they were going to change the logo for Cracker Barrel I thought she had no clue what she was doing. Anytime a new CEO, President, Marketing exec, etc.. is put in place I automatically know they are inept if they announce a change to a logo or some new low tier "marketing strategy" that has absolutely no connection to its core base audience.

Seeing what is happening now is leading me to believe she thought she was supposed to actually save the company when she was supposed to bring it down from the inside and the board is kicking her out because the results didn't come fast enough.

Fast forward a year and she is stepping down with a security detail as part of her severance package with the announcement of David Deno taking the role.

If you don't know who David Deno is, he is a Director and former board member of Krispy Kreme as well as a board member of Panera Bread.

Two companies that absolutely TANKED in value despite being staples in the food industry in the US and internationally. No joke South Koreans LOOOOVED Krispy Kreme when I went there in 2018.

By the way he was the CFO of Bloomin Brands during the time that their major IPs were shut down or minimized. So Outback Steakhouse, Carraba's, Bonefish Grille, yea those all went under during his watch.

Obviously this is merely an assumption on my end, however we are currently sitting at 25.7% of short interest of public float in the stock. Thats 5.66 million shares of Cracker Barrel sold short with 5 days to cover.

Am I looking too deep in to this or are they just doing it in front of all of us and not giving AF?
