VisionWave -Two new provisional patents: GhostSight radar + SkyWeave satellite
VisionWave Holdings (Nasdaq: **$VWAV**) has been filing IP at a steady clip. In the last week they announced two provisional patents:
GhostSight (July 17)
Hybrid passive radar / RF sensing architecture. It uses ambient RF signals plus their own cooperative illuminators. Receivers stay receive-only while AI fuses multi-band data for detection, tracking, and classification (including small drones and low-altitude threats). Aimed at counter-UAS, base protection, and infrastructure security.
SkyWeave (July 14)
AI-orchestrated high-frequency communication system designed for satellite-denied or infrastructure-denied environments. Uses AI for propagation analysis, intelligent listening, path prediction, and automated link management so operators (or autonomous systems) can maintain long-range comms without satellites or cellular networks.
These sit on top of the company’s broader platform work: the VARAN autonomous ground vehicle and drone systems shown at Eurosatory, the pending 51% acquisition of Meteor Aerospace, and the SaverOne RF sensing transaction.
They’re clearly stacking patents around sensing, autonomy, and resilient communications. Anyone else following the recent IP filings or the overall defense tech story here?
