42 Years of Watching, 1 Year of Diving In! 📈
Believe it or not, back in January, I finally took the plunge and bought my first-ever shares. I hold them across two separate UK ISAs. 🇬🇧
I’ve actually followed the markets since 1984, so it only took me 42years to pull the trigger! 😂 I bought and still hold SLS, DRTS, IBRX, and Netlist. As you can imagine from the January timeline, I’ve done incredibly well with them.
The "New Account" Curse 🪄🔮
Decided to open a separate account just to play around, learn, and gain experience. I kid you not: every single stock I touched immediately shed 10%+ within two hours and hit trading halts. 📉
Naturally, a week after I sell them? They skyrocket 60% to 300%! 🤡
Needless to say, I’ve knocked that trading experiment on the head. Now, I am strictly researching solid companies for long-term growth. 🌳
