Quick question for the group. I'm going to consider looking into Sprout's Farmers Market stock. On the surface, I understand that they occupy a middle ground somewhere between the premium grocer's (Whole Foods) and the budget grocers' (Walmart, Kroger). I'm just not sure if that is enough to consider them deep value for me. One of my favorite investors (Phil Town) has owned the stock for a little while and I'm struggling to understand what he see's in the company.
My question to the group is what actually makes this company unique? Are they able to take control of specific areas of the USA in there niche, thereby creating dominance? Or is it something else?
