West Point Gold -Latest drill results extend NE Tyro to 350m depth with strong consistent hits
West Point Gold last week, oncer again has delivered solid drill results from its flagship Gold Chain Project in Arizona.
they listed these results in their release
Highlights from the five holes (1,542m):
* GC26-169: 51.9m @ 2.5 g/t Au from 276m, including 21.4m @ 4.72 g/t Au (true width \~38m) — about 300m below surface
* GC26-157: 32.0m @ 3.4 g/t Au (with higher-grade sub-interval)
* GC26-159: 36.5m @ 2.79 g/t Au, including 9.1m @ 6.46 g/t Au
These intercepts confirm consistent grades and widths across multiple sections (as shown on Lines 1050, 1100, 1200) and extend the NE Tyro zone to \~350m depth. It remains open to depth and northeast toward the Frisco Graben target.
CEO Derek Macpherson highlighted that the results validate the depth potential and should support the pending maiden resource estimate, which was great to hear from him!
The company has now completed its large \~21,079m drill program. More assays from Tyro Main and NE Tyro (14 holes / \~4,378m) are still pending and will all feed into the maiden NI 43-101 resource targeted for later in 2026.
if you look back at previous news releases, they have already shown holes with impressive intercepts as well!
