I’ve been digging into CTV recently, and I think it’s one of the more interesting overlooked critical mineral stories on the market.
Most investors are focused on lithium, copper and rare earths, but fluorspar gets very little attention despite being designated as a critical mineral and playing an essential role in semiconductor manufacturing, nuclear fuel production, steelmaking, aluminium and the chemical industry.
What stands out to me:
Exploring in the historic Illinois-Kentucky Fluorspar District.
Exposure to a commodity with limited North American production.
Growing focus on securing domestic critical mineral supply chains.
Ongoing exploration that could unlock significant value if successful.
Current valuation still looks small compared with the long-term opportunity, in my opinion.
The market seems to be overlooking how strategically important fluorspar could become over the coming years. If CTV continues to execute and expand its resource, I think it has the potential to attract a lot more attention.
