Built a trading journal after getting frustrated with my workflow — it evolved into a full grading and discipline tracking system. Would love honest feedback.
It started with a simple frustration. I wanted to open a chart, write down my thoughts on a ticker, and actually *review* my decisions later. Not in a spreadsheet. Not copy-pasting into a notes app. Just — on the chart, in context.
So I built my own.
What I really wanted to understand wasn't just whether I made money — it was *why* I took trades, and whether my process was actually sound. So the app evolved into something bigger. It grades your entries and momentum based on technicals, tracks your Discipline Score over time, and gives you a playbook system to document your setups and rules before you trade — so you can hold yourself accountable to them after.
It's called **Whyspyr**. Here's what it does:
* 📓 Trade journaling with notes directly on the chart
* 📈 Entry grade and momentum grade — technical signals to help evaluate the quality of your setup
* 📊 Discipline Score — tracks how consistently you follow your own rules over time
* 📋 Playbook system — document your setups and entry criteria before you trade
* 🧪 Paper trading simulator
* 🔍 Market screener + IPO calendar
* 👥 Community feed to share trades and setups
The app is live now and free to use — I'm treating this as an open beta while I squash bugs and polish things based on real feedback. When it's ready for a full launch, it'll move to a paid plan.
Would genuinely love to know what's broken, what's missing, or what a swing trader would actually need to see that isn't there yet.
