I bought GOOGL calls expiring in 2028 after the earnings drop — am I early, or just wrong?

The stock still hasn’t recovered much, and I’m debating whether to keep holding or take the loss.

The business looks strong: Search remains dominant, YouTube is growing, and Google Cloud is becoming more important. Alphabet also has a huge investment in Anthropic, which could give it another way to benefit from AI through cloud usage, TPUs, and equity upside.

But Alphabet is also spending heavily on Gemini and AI infrastructure. If those investments don’t produce strong returns, the market may keep pressuring the stock.

**Would you keep the January 2028 calls, or take the loss and wait for a better setup? What would make you hold or exit?**

Not financial advice—just looking for different perspectives.
