Entered a sell on gold at 4659.60 with 0.5 lots and I'm sitting tight on this one.
Here's what gave me the conviction to enter — on the 4H chart, gold had been consistently printing lower highs for a while. Every rally was getting sold into, buyers couldn't push it back to the previous high, classic distribution. So when price finally broke below 4668 with some real momentum, that was the confirmation I needed. Didn't chase it, just waited for the break and got in clean.
Since then the H1 has been cooperating perfectly — steady decline, no major character change, just slow and painful for the bulls.
Currently price is hovering around 4569 and my TP is sitting at 4400. Yeah it's a big target but if the 4H structure is telling me lower highs are in play, 4400 isn't a fantasy — it's just the next logical level.
The trade is up +$4,660 right now which is the dangerous part mentally. That number makes you want to lock in and walk away. But the setup hasn't broken down yet so I'm trusting the analysis.
Only thing that would make me reconsider is if we start printing a higher high on the 4H — until then, hands off.
Anyone else caught this break on gold? Holding or already out?
