I feel like a DCF is the intrinsic value of a company, when the cash come back to shareholders at a certain point. So either the company is sold to another company or somebody for a premium, or it gives back the cash as dividend. So for example SpaceX is controlled at 80% by Musk, meaning it will never be sold to anyone else. How much discount do you apply on the DCF in this case ? And I think there is a very good chance that SpaceX never gives a consequent dividend, so how much discount for that ?
