NovaRed adds public-sector experience as Canadian critical minerals story builds
NovaRed Mining is starting to build a pretty unusual setup for a small Canadian explorer.
Wilmac gives them the BC copper-gold side: 39k acres in the Quesnel belt, about 6 mil west of Hudbay’s Copper Mountain Mine.
MetalCore gives them the data side: an AI-assisted mineral-property evaluation platform with more than 2.7 million records, including 1.4M+ geochemical sample records, 799,000+ mineral occurrence and deposit records, and 583,000+ mining claim records.
now the advisory board adds senior public-sector experience across infrastructure, economic development, stakeholder engagement and large-scale planning.
that combination is what makes the update worth watching to me.
critical minerals are becoming a bigger part of infrastructure planning, energy systems, industrial development and supply-chain resilience. copper sits right in the middle of that conversation because of grids, data centers, electrification and manufacturing demand.
NovaRed is still early-stage. Wilmac has no mine, no resource and no production yet. but the company is building around more than just one exploration claim.
