The play of the future: depression

Here’s a more natural, conversational version:

I’ve been thinking about how pharma companies will always try to commercialize human problems and maximize profits for as long as they can.

With that in mind, I feel like companies developing new therapies and molecules for conditions such as depression, ADHD, and addiction could be one of the next major growth areas in pharma.

I’m thinking of companies like Definium Therapeutics, Atai Life Sciences, and Compass Pathways. As mental health treatments continue to evolve and gain acceptance, these companies could be positioned in a very large and growing market.

Do you think this is still an undervalued investment theme, or has the market already priced in most of the opportunity?
