I don’t mean the AI hype and AI stocks etc. But, as with when the internet arrived, when stocks could be traded through the web and the effects that had, I am curious to hear in what ways you think this new tech and it’s, well, added capabilities to private as well as institutional investors will (or does already) effect stock market ”environment”?
The speed with which we can analyze stuff is wildly higher, and I find this philosophically quite interesting. Will the market be reacting much more efficiently to signals? Will there be a lot more overbuying / overselling? Will there come a time there will be more agents trading than real humans and we’ll all be wtf?
