How to find stocks that go up instead of down?

I know this sounds absurd, but everything in my portfolio is either red or deep red since I started putting money into the market the last few months, including ETFs. I’m ready to throw in the towel because this is getting way too painful for me.

I traded stocks many years ago and had a large position in BA. Then a couple planes crashed and I lost over 50%. I said fuck the stock market and traded crypto. I did well there making over 200%, but I no longer feel it is a viable option for investment. So a couple months ago I decided to buy stocks again. I truly think I am cursed because literally everything I have bought has gone red. A few notables below.

MU bought at the highs, down significantly.
GOOGL I bought and then literally a few hours later they announced a share dilution and it tanked.
MSFT bought around $450 and has gone deep red, starting to recover now though.
TSLA bought at all time highs.
SPCX bought in after the IPO. Was actually very green for a while and I should have sold.
SLS saw this all over Reddit. Got in around $14 and now down.
TE saw this was a new stock in that hedge fund portfolio. It’s down 50% since I bought.
QQQ and SPY I got in right around ATH.

I know what you’re thinking (hurr durr you bought at ATH what did you expect?), but I also bought stocks on the decline that keep going down.

NFLX and got demolished by earnings today.
ASTS and RKLB and then a rocket exploded and they tanked.

I have tried shorting the market and it rallies. I go long and it tanks. I truly feel like I am cursed and everything I touch instantly loses money. It’s almost laughable at this point.

If you want to know my next stocks I like, it’s META and PLTR so they will certainly drop after I buy.
