I got a decent inheritance and trying to figure out the best move. Gut says just split btc/eth and let it sit for a few years. But part of me wants to build a bigger portfolio since this is a one time chance. Names I keep seeing for the alt bucket are ada for the cardano bet, link for oracle/infra, nexo for yield instead of pure price bet, maybe dot or avax for l1 diversification.
Did you regret going only btc/eth. What split would you run between safe and swing for it. Is there a case for holding something that generates yield instead of just price appreciation. Not looking for an exact split, just want to hear how people think about inherited money differently than money they're actively earning and reinvesting. Or should I consider an entierly different strategy? I'm open to any ideas
