More Wendy's DD

Hey yall, I posted DD on WSB that I suggest you check out. I would do a follow up post there but trying to get a Wendy's post through is like applying for graduate school.

In that post I talked about how the new CEO/CFO, Bob Wright and Steve Cirulis are an amazing combo, but I wanted to add some context to the former CEO/CFO combo. It will show just how mismanaged Wendy's has been for the past 2+ years.

**Here are the resumes of the former CEO and CFO:**

* Kirk Tanner, Former CEO
* 0 YoE in Restaurants
* 32 YoE at Pepsi
* Ken Cook, Former CFO
* 0 YoE in Restaurants
* 20 YoE at UPS

**Now, here are the resumes of the new CEO and CFO:**

* Bob Wright, CEO
* 30+ YoE in Fast Food
* 14 YoE at WENDY'S, including 5.5 years as COO
* 5 YoE at Potbelly's where he executed a successful turnaround and delivered a 10 bagger for shareholders in 5 years
* Steve Cirulis, CFO
* 12+ YoE in Fast Food
* 5 YoE at McDonald's as Global VP of Corporate Strategy
* 1.5 YoE at Panera as Senior VP of Strategy (Back in 2018 when Panera was still good)
* 5 YoE at Potbelly's where he executed a successful turnaround and delivered a 10 bagger for shareholders in 5 years

They literally had two guys who've never worked in a restaurant and didn't know each other running Wendy's. Now they have two guys who have worked side by side for 5+ years on a successful fast food turnaround, one of which has 14 years of experience at Wendy's in its prime including running the entire operations side of the business for over 5 years.

Bob and Steve literally just did this at Potbelly's, and now they're even better set up to do it at Wendy's. It's fucking nuts how beautiful of a setup this is.
