How do you trade the US 500, US 30, and NAS 100? Looking for advice as a beginner

Hey everyone, I've been getting into trading and I keep seeing the US 500 (S&P 500), US 30 (Dow Jones), and NAS 100 (Nasdaq 100) mentioned a lot. I'm curious — how do you actually trade these indices?

A few things I'd love to understand:
