Hey guys, if you missed it, ShipChain settled $2.05M with investors over issues with its tokens. And, I just found out that they’re accepting claims even though the deadline has passed.
Quick recap: Between October 2017 and January 2018, ShipChain raised around $27.6 million by selling SHIP tokens during an unregistered Initial Coin Offering (ICO), claiming the funds would support a blockchain-based logistics platform.
In 2020, the SEC charged ShipChain with offering and selling unregistered securities in violation of federal law. The company agreed to pay a $2.05 million civil penalty, which is now being returned to harmed investors through an SEC Fair Fund, and even though the deadline has passed recently, they’re accepting late claims.
So, if you invested in $SHIP when all of this happened, you can still check the details and [file your claim here](https://11th.com/cases/shipchain-fairfund).
Anyway, has anyone here invested in $SHIP at that time? How much were your losses, if so?
