32 year old. Planing to invest for long term growth along with 401k to be able to retire and live comfortable. did start ROTH IRA but now comes where I’m unsure. I’ve seen posts say all you need is VTI and vxus, some say only VTI. I’ve had people tell me to do VTI, VXUS with BND or PLTR OR COST (those three have been suggested from multiple different people). Which really is the correct way to go about? I know VTI covers mainly US market and VXUS is international, and from what I’ve read you should have diversity to ensure growth but then I see posts say doing VTI and VXUS lowers maximum growth compared to just doing VTI. And people tell me to add either bnd, pltr, or cost to maximize growth. So now I’m confused. Anyone can offer their two cents about it and advice? I know consistency is the name of the game
